This large maple jewelry box is based upon the same measurements common to the antique jewelry boxes of yesterday (they tended to be a bit larger then). The sides of this jewelry box are hand made from solid maple and the mitered corners are reinforced with solid maple keys for extra strength and durability. The top of the box shows curly maple with a bit of birdseye in it (or a birdseye maple top with a bit of curly maple in it, that's two for the price of one! ;) ). The tope edge of the box has been treated with an opalescent white epoxy inlay. This jewelry box has plenty of storage room with a drawer and 3 removable trays.

This striking medium sized jewelry box is handmade with solid mahogany sides that have been carefully joined with a through dovetail. The top features a dazzling curly anigre veneer. Open the box to find two removable hardwood trays. The trays are constructed with a box joint for years of service and lined with a black dress maker's velvet. The front part of the upper tray also contains a ring holder.

This small box is a wonderful blend of oak and leather. The box is solid red oak joined with red oak dovetail keys. An Art Deco Celtic knot has been carved into the leather adorning the top. This great little box is handmade with solid walnut. The lid of the box features hand carved and hand dyed leather. The Celtic knot used is called an iron trivet knot and has been dyed purple (with definite overtones of red). The sides of the box are joined with a box joint (sometimes referred to as a finger joint) for years and years of service. With an interior space of 6 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 4 7/8", it is the perfect size for 4x6 recipe or note cards.

This handmade jewelry box incorporates several different woods. The sides are solid curly maple. The top and bottom are both veneered with cherry. The box is constructed using a keyed miter joint for additional strength and beauty. The keys used are solid cherry. This jewelry box has two black velvet lined trays made from solid red oak. Both trays are removable. The knob and the hinge are both brass. The brass hinge has a positive stop incorporated into it set at about 95 degrees (far enough back to keep it from slamming accidentally on your fingers, not so far back as to make it bang into whatever is behind it.).
