This country style paper towel holder is a great storage solution for your kitchen. It is made out of solid poplar hardwood for years of service. The drawer under the towel bar is big enough to fit 2 standard sized boxes of plastic wrap, wax paper, etc. The ball ends of the towel bar are screwed on making it easy to change the paper towel roll from either end while not having to worry about the 1" dowel slipping out unintentionally. Wall mounting brackets have been mounted to the back of the paper towel holder allowing you to choose between mounting it on the wall or placing it on a counter.
